The hard part in doing this is the fact of taking on a new bill at the same time I am preparing to leave my job. But I am convinced it is the financially responsible thing for my husband and I to do for the sake of our unborn children.

Oh, it's not just the life insurance premium, it's the medical and hospital expenses that our medical insurance doesn't cover. And it's the baby clothes and the nursery furniture and all the other costs of having another person in the family. Since we have committed to starting our family at this time and since we are both so concerned with our kids having financial security, Bob and I both agree getting some amount of term life insurance is the thing for us to do before our first baby is born. The rest of the time all I think about is. I am 5 months from the birth date so I am now getting the information we need to make the buying decision.

So our income will drop by about a third and our expenses are about to increase. The value of life insurance at this stage of my life seems so very vague.

I only worry about it when planning finances.
