From a pure design perspective, metal also offers more possibilities in terms of what can be done with the bed frame. Picking from the wide range of beds may not be easy for the person who is unfamiliar with the different styles and features available on the market. A well made metal bed will probably be stronger and more durable than a wooden bed in the same price range.
